DAVID BETHANY, Principal

David is the principal and owner of Bethco Builders, and has been a licensed General Contractor since 1986. David has served as an expert witness on construction defense cases, given depositions, and assisted in mediations and insurance approvals. He has extensive expertise in Construction Litigation and Cost Estimating and is accepted in the construction defect and casualty insurance industry as a Consultant and Expert Witness. David prides himself on continuing to further his knowledge with additional licensing classifications and specialty courses, expanding the value he brings to his clients. His unique and solid background of long-term familiarity with the complex grid of interrelationships in the construction industry, including real estate principles, construction management, financial management, and human resource coordination gives him the decision-making abilities necessary to plan and complete involved and difficult project for his clients in a timely manner, and with confidence. 

STEVE BURTON, Project Manager

Steve has been in the land development and construction industry for over 22 years. For the majority of those years, he has held positions as a land development manager, superintendent and supervising field engineer for a number of Southern California companies.

As Project Manager for Bethco Builders, Steve is responsible for all field operations, supervising the projects from start to finish. He has exceptional leadership skills, which makes Steve an essential part of the Bethco Builders’ team.

MICHAEL MODGLIN, Project Manager

As Project Manager, Mike will manage the day-to-day operation of projects and insure that they are completed with maximum efficiency, production and client satisfaction.  Mike is experienced in cost estimating projects of all sizes and types. He has worked in the construction industry for over 30 years.

During his career, Mike has held the positions of Foreman and Framing Superintendent. Mike holds a California Contractor’s License (B).

PHILLIP DE LA FUENTE, Superintendent

As a Superintendent for Bethco Builders, Phil’s duties range from coordinating projects to actual hands-on carpentry work. His on the job philosophy is to do whatever needs to be done to keep the job running smoothly and completed on time.

Phil’s many years of experience in the construction industry and his constant striving to improve his skills, has made him indispensable to Bethco Builders. 

Phil is a licensed Contractor (B).

JACKIE BABCOCK, Accounting

Jackie has recently joined Bethco Builders after working within the construction industry for more than 15 years. She takes special pride in her ability to work well with our clients and to resolve any problems that might arise. In addition to her interaction with our clients, she also keeps good line of communication and productive working relationships with our clients, vendors and our team.

Jackie has the knowledge of a variety of accounting applications and is an asset to Bethco Builders. 

PAM WHITTLE, Administrative

Pam’s the first voice you will hear, when calling Bethco Builders. She is our Administrative Assistant. Her knowledge and friendly personality makes interacting with clients a pleasure. Pam supports the office staff and is an intricate part of our day to day operations.

Prior to joining Bethco Builders, Pam owned and operated a successful, small business for over 13 years. During those years, she perfected her customer service and organizational skills.
